Spay & Neuter

Permanent ownership of this dog is contingent upon your compliance with this Addendum.  The Breeder must receive proof of the spay/neuter surgery having been performed no later than the pup becoming 8 months of age.  Proof must be received within fourteen (14) days after completion of the surgery, in the form of a invoice from the veterinarian, including signature and state license number.  In the event that the dog’s health does not allow this agreement to be honored, Breeder must be provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this dog is not yet in physical or emotional condition for surgery.  Based upon the veterinarian’s evaluation of this dog the Purchaser will contact the veterinarian and establish the earliest date that the procedure can be performed.  The Purchaser will notify the Breeder of this amendment in writing, at which time all other conditions of this contract will apply and be enforced.

It is the responsibility of the Purchaser, not the veterinarian, to ensure that the Breeder has received verification that the surgery has been performed.  Failure to comply with this contract by the date below, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, will be considered a breach of the Contract.  The Purchaser will be liable for $5000.00.  In addition, it will result in the Health Guarantee being null and void.

 

By signing below, I, the Purchaser agree to have this dog spayed/neutered by no later than _____________________________, and I understand that this spay/neuter contract is an agreement that this dog will not produce a litter of puppies either as purposely bred or by accidental breeding.  If pregnancy occurs whether purposely or accidentally, the Purchaser agrees to pay the additional cost for a breeding dog, which is $3500.00.

The Seller, Steve and Nichole, and the Buyer, ______________________, hereby agree as follows:

1. The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer, for the amount of ____________, which is hereby acknowledged, for  _____________________ puppy, born ________________. And except ________ as a down payment which $500 is non-refundable, with the remaining _________ due in cash, Venmo or Zelle at or before delivery.
The puppy will be held till 8 weeks of age before being put back on the sales list unless other arrangements have been made.

Limited Registration

​

The Seller, Steve and Nichole, and the Buyer, ______________________, hereby agree as follows:

1. The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer, for the amount of $2500, which is hereby acknowledged, a male/female Bernese Mountain Dog puppy known as _____________, born   _______________   .

2. The Seller will provide the buyer with limited AKC registration forms that the Buyer will need to complete and send in to the AKC to register the puppy. This puppy cannot be used for breeding and must be spayed or neutered. 

3. The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health on the date of delivery. The Buyer has the right to return the puppy to the Seller at Buyers cost, within three days after delivery and receive a refund of the purchase price if the puppy is found by a veterinarian to be suffering from any disease.

4. If the puppy should happen to die within the first year of life from a genetic disease, which would be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian that it is indeed genetic, not environmental, the Seller will refund the purchase price or the Buyer can choose another puppy from the next available litter.

5. The Buyer shall maintain the puppy in good condition, including adherence to a regular immunization schedule, heartworm preventative, good diet, maintaining a healthy weight, and a clean and safe environment. This also includes proper exercise and is not to be overly strenuous because of bone growth during the first few years of life can be affected by strenuous work and exercise.

Full Registration

 

 

The Seller, Steve and Nichole, and the Buyer, ______________________, hereby agree as follows:

1. The Seller hereby sells to the Buyer, for the amount of  $3500, which is hereby acknowledged, a male/female Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, identified as ­­_________________, born ________________.

2. The Seller will provide the buyer with Full AKC registration forms that the Buyer will need to complete and send in to the AKC to register the puppy. If a pup is purchased with Full Registration, and was purchased for the intentions of breeding, and is diagnosed with a non-life threatening problem which makes it ineligible for breeding by the age of three, the price difference between Full Registration and Limited Registration for a pup from that litter will be refunded.  The problem must be diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, documented, and a letter must be sent to the seller regarding the diagnosis. The buyer agrees not to breed this dog In this case, and have this dog spayed or neutered. The buyer agrees to provide written proof of spay or neuter from the veterinarian who performed the surgery. The seller agrees to provide refund money after all of the terms listed above have been met.

3. The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health on the date of delivery. The Buyer has the right to return the puppy to the Seller within three days after delivery and receive a refund of the purchase price if the puppy is found by a veterinarian to be suffering from any disease.
